The Busy Girl's Guide
The Busy Girl's Guide was born from blanket of boredom that cloaked our world when your weekly SoulCycle classes, daily soccer practices, 9 to 5 jobs, and 8 to 3 schooling was cancelled. Take a city like Manhattan Beach: a bubble of workaholics who look forward to 9 to 5 vacation days, students who think 6 AP classes are more worthwhile than their sanity, and a population constantly striving for perfection and Ivy Leagues. Now take a worldwide pandemic that has literally stopped the passage of time. Put them together and what do you get? This isn't a trick question. The answer is a town that belongs in a psych ward .
You get people like me who are bored enough to actually make a blog like this, and you get people like my mom who have resorted to running around our living room deciding that the 3rd floor board from the southernmost wall looks a little crooked. But one thing I noticed thats all the same:
1. People are bored.
2. People are snacking.
3. People are sitting on their asses.
4. People have no idea what to do.
So ladies and gentlemen, I propose to you a solution:
The Busy Girl's Guide to Slowing Down, Getting Fit, Eating Healthy, and Staying Sane.
I hope this makes the chaos a bit more manageable, or in the very least, give you something to do in the time that would have been spent doing what ever you used to do.
